The executive management of ReadyPoint has over 60 years of combined experience, with significant expertise in healthcare security, sales and marketing, technology, and strategic business development. Biographies of the key management team members are set forth below.
Chris Riddle, CHSP – President and Founder. Mr. Riddle has over 24 years of experience in healthcare safety, security and emergency management. Mr. Riddle is the creator and developer of StandTo™ that automates real time response, training, and exercises. Prior to founding ReadyPoint, Mr. Riddle was the Chief Safety Officer for Saint Thomas Health Services located in Nashville, TN. Within the Ascension Health System, he served as the chair of a safety council responsible for developing strategic safety and emergency management initiatives for the largest non-profit healthcare system in the United States. His active career has been spent in the development and implementation of programs to create a safer healthcare environment and improve the way hospitals prepare and respond to emergency situations. Mr. Riddle holds a bachelor of science in safety engineering from Murray State University.
Walker Morrow – Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Mr. Morrow has over 12 years experience in various sales and business development capacities. For most of his career, Mr. Morrow has consulted and provided technology solutions in the hospital, medical practice and surgery center settings. The scope of his expertise is developing partnerships that have resulted in improved business performance through process efficiencies, cost reduction and best practice principles. Prior to joining ReadyPoint, Mr. Morrow held various business development positions, which includes leading the expansion of a business unit which became the top-performing unit in a services company.
Mr. Morrow has a Bachelor of Science, Technology Education degree from Georgia Southern University, where he was recognized with two national awards based on academics and community involvement.
G. Edward Cassady, III - Board Trustee. Mr. Cassady serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Robins & Morton where he launched the company’s power & industrial division to provide engineering and construction services to the chemicals, hydrocarbons, minerals, power, and pulp and paper markets. Previously, Mr. Cassady served as the Chief Operating Officer for The Martin Companies where he provided operational and financial support to its portfolio of companies. Mr. Cassady joined The Martin Companies following nine years in executive leadership for BE&K, Inc., a global engineering and construction firm headquartered in Birmingham, AL. Prior to joining BE&K, Mr. Cassady practiced law for 15 years with the law firm Bradley Arant Rose & White (Now Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP) in Birmingham, AL.
Tony Simpson – Board Trustee. Mr. Simpson serves as a Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer of The Martin Companies. He also services on the board of directors for many of The Martin Companies portfolio companies. He has over 30 years experience in public and the healthcare industry. Prior to joining The Martin Companies in 2009, Mr. Simpson was with Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC one of the largest regional accounting firms based in Tennessee. In that role, he performed extensive tax consulting and compliance services for numerous clients primary in the healthcare industry. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Tax for both Vanguard Health Systems, Inc. and OrNda Healthcorp. Before joining OrNda he was a Tax Partner with Ernst & Young. He also service tax client in the accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. and Blankenship, Summar & Associates. Mr. Simpson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Western Kentucky University.
Jerry Eyler – Board Trustee. Mr. Eyler has over thirty years of healthcare services experience working in the areas of finance and operations throughout his career. Along with Tim Petrikin and Charlie Martin, he co-founded e+CancerCare, one of the leading operators of outpatient cancer care centers in the nation. Mr. Eyler retired as CFO of e+ in June 2009 and is currently assisting the e+ Foundation with fundraising and serves as the foundation’s Board President. Prior to e+, Mr. Eyler was with Symbion Healthcare, an operator of outpatient surgery centers and OrNda Healthcorp an operator of acute care hospitals. Mr. Eyler is a graduate of Kansas State University with a M.B.A. in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife Pam have three grown children.
